ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Wednesday, May 30, 2018) - AnimeNEXT, the independent New Jersey and Philadelphia-area Anime Convention is returning to Atlantic City, NJ. The convention will begin Friday, June 8 and conclude Sunday, June 10 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, which is easily accessible for fans throughout New Jersey, the Philadelphia area, and New York City.

AnimeNEXT features guests and creators from Japan who’ve worked on some of the most popular anime, fashions and music coming out of Japan. Fans who attend the convention will be able to attend panel sessions and events with convention guests, including some creators from Japan. Guests will also be available during a limited time for autographs (autographs are not guaranteed).

The independent and fan-run convention, which regularly attracts more than 30,000 attendees, is a great, summer, family fun event for all ages. AnimeNEXT features panels and workshops from our guests and knowledgeable panelists. The convention also offers a huge dealers room to purchase anime and manga merchandise, a giant artist alley where creators sell their crafts and artwork, plus an expansive video game hall, table-top gaming, and musical concerts.

Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to greatly benefit from the AnimeNEXT Convention at the convention center over three days. The estimated economic impact is expected to reach more than $5 million. In addition, more than 3,400 hotel rooms have been contracted by convention center visitors throughout the event.

The convention is an easy commute for families and fans from New Jersey, the Philadelphia area, and New York City. Commuters can take a train directly to the rail station in the self-same convention center the event takes place in. If you prefer to take the bus, that is also available via the Atlantic City bus station just a few blocks away. AnimeNEXT is also easily accessible by car via the Atlantic City Expressway.

AnimeNEXT registration is $75 for all three days of the convention, but the convention also offers single day registration at lower prices. Friday is $45, Saturday is $55, and Sunday is $40. More information about the convention can be found at www.animenext.org.
