POLICE SECURITY EXPO 2016 TO CELEBRATE ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY IN ATLANTIC CITY ON JUNE 28-29

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Monday, August 10, 2015) Meet AC is pleased to announce and welcome back the Police Security Expo who have signed a three year contract extension to remain in Atlantic City for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The Police Security Expo, which is also known as the Industry SuperShow features the latest products, services and technological advances needed by industry professionals. Products on display range from the common flashlight to items such as uniforms, transport vehicles, forcible entry tools, weapons, crime scene investigation aids, wireless services, digital cameras, warning lights, surveillance products, bullet proof vests, computers and much more. In addition, more than 750 exhibits will be on display and unique seminar programs will demonstrate the latest product updates. The Police Security Expo has been held in Atlantic City on a yearly basis since it began in 1987.

The Police Security Expo attracts more than 6,500 attendees and brings in more than 3,000 rooms each year. The annual estimated economic impact derived from the Expo is more than $4.2 million annually. The three year contract extension brings a combined $12.6 million economic impact to Atlantic City. “Meet AC is thrilled that the Police Security Expo has elected to remain with us here in Atlantic City through 2018,” said Jim Wood, President and CEO for Meet AC. “The convention industry has a tremendous impact on Atlantic City’s economy as evidenced by the tremendous impact the Police Security Expo will have on our local hotels, restaurants, retail outlets and casinos each year,” Wood said.

A recent independent convention delegate survey of the 2015 Police Security Expo stated that an overwhelming 94 percent of the delegates surveyed said they will return to Atlantic City.
