Events will Generate Over 5,200 Hotel Room Nights and More Than $5 Million in Delegate Spending for Atlantic City

 

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Monday, September 12, 2016) The Atlantic City Convention Center will be bustling with activity during the week of September 12. The facility will welcome more than 7,400 attendees over the course of four events in the next six days.

This week’s events are expected to increase activity for local businesses in Atlantic City. The estimated delegate spending during this week is expected to be more than $5 million. Additionally, 5,200 hotel room nights have been contracted by convention center visitors throughout the week.

The 134th Philadelphia National Candy, Gift & Gourmet Show kicked off yesterday and will conclude on Tuesday, September 13. This premier trade show is the place for retailers to get a first-hand look at breaking trends, new introductions and the latest offerings in every category from candy, chocolate and gourmet specialties to candy-making equipment, packaging and more.

Arett Sales, the premier distributor of lawn, garden, home and holiday supplies also kicked off yesterday and will conclude Tuesday, September 13. Arett Sales is celebrating their 65th anniversary with over 400 booths that will feature new products for Spring 2017. A must see at the Arett Open House is the Power Alley area that offers bulk quantities of products at deep discounts.

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) conference will begin Tuesday, September 13 and conclude Wednesday, September 14. These deal making events are a great opportunity for owners, developers, retailers, brokers, lenders, municipalities, property asset managers and product and service providers to gather under one roof to exhibit, make deals and form successful business partnerships.

Finally, this Saturday, September 17, LMT Lab Day East, the largest dental laboratory event on the East Coast will take place at the Atlantic City Convention Center for a one day conference filled with the industry’s top educators and a full day of educational seminars. Lab Day East has become the must-attend event on the East Coast and the annual show has captured the attention of eager audiences who appreciate the central location, educational clinics and busy exhibit hall.
