The website features a clean design, innovative tools, interactive content, and customizable features, helping to make meeting planning in Atlantic City more accessible and efficient

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ, July 19, 2023 - Visit Atlantic City, which rebranded from Meet AC earlier this year, has launched its newly redesigned website, making meeting planning in the destination easier than ever before. The website was designed in collaboration with Simpleview and serves as a platform to showcase the authenticity and uniqueness of Atlantic City, highlighting the numerous activities, attractions and experiences available in the destination while featuring intuitive tools to help meeting planners achieve their goals.

The new website features an updated homepage with prompts to help meeting planners navigate the page seamlessly, creating a cohesive and user-centric experience. Updates include visually appealing slider features with upcoming conventions and entertainment events; clickable tiles where planners can instantly access detailed information about attractions, events, meeting venues and more; icons that list the unique advantages that sets Atlantic City apart from other destinations; and a blog and press release section complete with images and accessible buttons for further exploration. Additionally, users will find a dedicated section highlighting Atlantic City’s numerous accolades and awards, helping meeting planners to see the recognition and trust the destination has earned from industry professionals and esteemed organizations.

“Our website is easier to navigate than ever before, capturing Atlantic City’s vibrant energy by providing users with a journey that’s both engaging and interactive,” said Larry Sieg, Visit Atlantic City, President and CEO. “We look forward to having meeting planners, exhibitors and attendees alike use our website to host unforgettable meetings and events, seamlessly blending business and leisure in our dynamic coastal destination.”

Beyond the homepage, users will continue to find a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation. With the new trip builder feature, planners can access relevant information to create a unique, personalized experience from the moment they open the website. Users can add attractions and select events they’d like to attend by simply clicking on the hearts in the listings and saving to their favorites. With header navigation, users will find everything from weather icons, allowing planners to plan events in Atlantic City accordingly, rain or shine, and a red “Request for Proposal” (RFP) button where planners are easily directed to upload or fill out the RFP form to quick links to the Group Tour, Atlantic City Sports Commission and Atlantic City Film microsites and easy access to Atlantic City’s social media accounts where planners can stay connected with the latest updates around the destination.

Footer navigation equipped with language options, a planner’s guide button, a convenient link to subscribe to the Visit Atlantic City newsletter and a content listing page highlighting venues, hotels, events and attractions round out the website enhancements.

“We’re very excited to share the results of our collaboration with the Atlantic City team,” said Harrison Kessler, designer at Simpleview. “The new site celebrates the iconic, bold, and playful qualities of the destination using color, shape and interactivity. With a strong focus on the audience, meeting planners are introduced to Atlantic City and provided the valuable information they need through a seamless user experience.”

In addition to Visit Atlantic City’s newly redesigned website, a more streamlined sports microsite is on the way, where sports event planners will soon have an enhanced, dynamic platform showcasing the vast range of sporting facilities that Atlantic City has to offer.
