Events will Generate 1,515 Room Nights and More Than $9 Million in Delegate Spending for Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Wednesday, February 3, 2016) The Atlantic City Convention Center will be buzzing with activity during the month of February, which will attract more than 70,000 attendees during four consumer shows this month.

The annual Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show has docked at the Atlantic City Convention Center today and will conclude on Sunday, February 7. The show has 25 percent more show space to give lifelong boating enthusiasts and novices alike an all-access pass to discover why life is better with a boat. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop, compare and find competitive deals on everything from sport fishers and performance boats to sailboats and family cruisers, plus thousands of marine accessories and activities for all ages. The 21st Annual Atlantic City RV & Camping show will kick off at the Convention Center on Friday, February 12 and conclude on Sunday, February 14. In addition, car enthusiasts will flock into the facility for the largest indoor Classic Car Show & Auction in the United States, which will take place February 26-28. Auction highlights will include legendary muscle cars, rare roadsters, touring cars and popular classics. Local Atlantic City businesses are expected to greatly benefit from the activity at the convention center this month. The estimated delegate spending is expected to reach more than $9 million. In addition, 1,515 hotel rooms have been contracted by Convention Center visitors throughout the month.
